What if the U.S. unilaterally eliminated its nuclear arsenal? This is not so crazy. You don't need nuclear weapons to defend against nuclear weapons- nuclear is really "offensive". We could save lots of money, redirect money to go to things that could really defend the country, set a great example for the rest of the world, and be a leader in nuclear disarmament. I like this idea.
